Project Description

Join the Friends of April Hill Park for a volunteer stewardship day! This event is hosted and led by Friends of April Hill Park and will focus on removing weeds and other debris near the playground and Giant Sequoia. Come when you can and stay as long as you can. Tools and gloves are provided and remember to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and dress for the weather.

Volunteer: Multnomah Arts Center Garden Volunteers

Are you enthusiastic about gardening? We are looking for volunteers to help tend the gardens at the Multnomah Arts Center. Gardening volunteers help keep outdoor spaces welcoming, beautiful, and well-tended for all who visit. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the health and appearance of the grounds while supporting a vibrant community hub. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with plants, being outdoors, and making a positive impact in the community!

These positions work independently and allow volunteers to work as their schedule and availability allows. PP&R will provide onsite training, ongoing support, and all supplies.

Volunteer: Burlingame Tuesday Volunteer Days

We invite all members of the community to help care for the plants and garden beds at Burlingame Park. We meet every third Tuesday of the month from 10:00 am to Noon. Projects and tasks will be determined based on the number of volunteers who sign up.  

Event Information 

If you have gardening gloves, please bring them. We will have limited numbers to loan out. 

Dress for the weather, wear close toed shoes, and bring a water bottle. 

Meet on the path near the playground. 

All tools and instructions will be provided.
